About us. Following years of extensive R&D and the development of several industrial prototypes, Voltrion BVBA (Belgium) was founded in 2009 to treat vegetable oils & fats by a modern designed electro-polymerization process (Voltrion process) which finds its roots in old voltolization and electro-ionization techniques. With the emphasis on producing natural & multi-functional fatty oil concentrates, our technology provides several industries with taylor-made alternatives to petroleum-based additives, without giving in on quality or performance.

VOLTRION stands for the use of electricity (VOLT) to ionize raw materials (ION), obtaining Renewable (R) oil chemicals with a focus on Green technology & production.

These derivates are mainly Voltrionized™ (treated by electrical discharge) oil blends; unique ecologic friction modifiers and wear reducers that successfully compete with ZDDP, TCP and outperform RMEs and Polyol esters at the highest degree.
